Anyone got a joraform JK270?

Am looking at the joraform JK270 - its been highly recommended by a composting friend of mine.
Just wondered if anyone else had one.

Interesting,but the price ,there has to be a cheaper way of doing something similar,like a plastic barrel with lagging of some sort around,topped off with a raincoat,i wonder if an old mangal could be put to use as the spinner,presuming there are any still around these days,also i wonder if it would have a better /quicker effect lagging a common bin,mmmm,the builders merchants sell that white insulation in varying thickness,it's just messy to saw up,

One observation the polystyrene appears to have no protection from the material your composting so soft stuff only. Otherwise polystyrene granules in your compost and new panels needed.

I think it is lined with white plastic over the insulation

Unless it can turn the waste into compost overnight I'll just buy a couple of darleks and wait a couple of months.

I don't doubt that it makes great compost but then so do I in a great big heap that costs me nothing. I admit that it takes years to get the finished product but gardening, for me, is a long-term commitment. I think in terms of seasons rather than quick fixes....and, being a Yorkshireman, the thought of spending that kind of money on summat I could cobble together myself is enough to give me a seizure!
