Has anyone grown/tasted 'Tiny Tim' and 'Red Robin' tomatoes?

Has anyone grown or tasted it? What pot size would you recommend? The plants are 2 inches high growing in large yogurt pots. I bought the seeds because I liked the look of the plants (silly, I know ) and I have not read any reviews about it being awesome for taste.

I'm also growing 'ildi' and 'garden pearl' tomatoes and I found mixing opinions about their taste, but couldn't find if they really are heavy producing tomato plants.

I grew tiny Tim last year and got a good crop of cherry toms . The flavour was sweet and quite intense . I put 2 plants in a flower bucket and let them dangle off a wall.

Thanks! I'm going to grow them indoors, tomatoes don't do well outside here.

I grew Tiny Tim on a window ledge a few years ago. It was very early and quite tasty but didn't produce very many fruits. Not bothered since as I have plenty of fruits from the polytunnel and prefer to use the window ledges for chillies

Tiny Tim is a nice easy tomato to grow, I find they grow to 18" high with a good crop of cherry type tomatoes making the plant a little top heavy with the fruits, so needs a little support. Fair tomato taste but not outstanding.

Red Robin very short growing 6-8", producing masses of fruit for its size. Lovely shiny round red fruit, taste is ok, I grew it alongside Vilma and it was the tastier of the two for me. Again very easy to grow and looks very cute.

Thank you both! I always research which ones do better in cooler climates and taste good, but they look so pretty that I bought them without knowing anything about them.

They do look good and both are good tomatoes for their type, I'd grow them again Taste wise I'm comparing them to my favourites. If you haven't come across it Tatiana's Tomato base is a fantastic resource for looking up open pollinated tomatoes.

Yes she must be a busy lady and a tomato encyclopaedia!
The tomato base is over the border in Canada, I've bought seeds from there and the US including Tatiana's without any problems. Customs opened one envelope once but then sent it on, so I would think it is ok as long as you don't buy too much.
