sowing radish

I am curious if there is any reason for me not to sow radish along the same row as silverskin onions?

My theory is that they will both be growing reasonably fast compared to everything else.

THerefore I was intending on planting them as close as possible to the most convenient pathway, to make frequent harvesting easier....
