too early for carrots?

    If I had sown mine in February they would have floated away long ago and probably germinated very well in some far away river estuary!

    I'll be sowing mine outside in the next two weeks.

    Never believe what they say on a seed packet, always ask in this forum first if in doubt. If seed packets were correct we would be harvesting fully grown carrots in May and delicious, ripe tomatoes in June.

      Hmmm ... interesting as I was thinking of sowing mine this weekend - and your land is light IIRC and mine is heavy (although several bags of sand have gone into the area in readiness)
