Too late for manure?

I have recently taken on a new allotment again. I am really lucky that it has been well looked after but the soul could do with a treat, Is it too late for me to dig in some well rotted manure this weekend? I am looking to plant my pumpkins early May.

Congrats on your new plot keepitgreen Bet you're excited!!
I've been collecting some wellrotted manure recently - have just laid it on the beds and am planting directly into it. Will be doing the same with the courgettes when they're planted out soon.

You mean soil? Although it's funny as written

What makes you think it needs supplements? Are no weeds growing at all? If they are, then veg will be fine too. They're all plants

If it has been 'well looked after' then it should be okay. If (non-weather related) growth is slow or if there is discolouration of leaves (indicating a nutrient deficiency) then you can always use a liquid fertiliser, either your own mix, or a commercial product like liquid seaweed or phostrogen to boost growth,
