    • I picked my first Galia melon at the start of this week. It was so sweet! First year of growing them so I'm really pleased.

      • My first tomato! It was a Moneymaker, grown in MPC with B and Q own brand tomato feed, so the flavour was not spectacular, but still tastier than the ones you buy in the supermarket. Looking forward to the glut now!

          • Today first Gardener's Delight and Ola Polka tomatos, cucumber Burpless Tasty Green (burpy tasteless green according to MrPP) and Danvers carrot.

                      • Picked the first of my Slangen cucs, not tasted it yet though we've still got half of a shop bought one to finish.

                              I'd never heard of it until I got a packet of free seeds a year or two ago, didn't get around to sowing them until this year. Fantastic flavour, it will be in my herb bed from now on
