Picked my first globe artichoke, cooked and ate it. 3 more on their way. Have to say for all the space it takes up......not a fan. It's ok, and the plant itself is impressive, but hardly worth the taste.
Chinese broccoli keep trying to go to seed, so I keep nipping the tiny bits off and eating them, lovely warmed by the sun.
And cooked the first of our pumpins with the roast. Glad there's plenty of them.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Just dug some new pots (Rocket)--12= 2 plants
                          Picked some mint
                          Spring Onions planted last year
Garlic (very small bulbs but have a ridiculous amount growing)
                          5 courgettes 4"-5" long.
Have been eating Rhubarb since the 2nd May.
Feed the soil, not the plants.
                          (helps if you have cluckies)

Picked my first radish tonight. Pink dragon variety. (For my Mum, as I can't stand them)!

They are approx 4 inches long.

I grew these in a container that was only 5 inches deep. Little did I know that they can grow up to 50 cm!!!!!

Therefore, I have now sown some more in flower buckets...
