First fully grown cauliflowers. Variety "Aviron", did well for me last season too so I'm well happy. The slugs got to them before I did, though...

Martin! I grew some "Beauties" last year! But had a few with the same pitted appearance n dis colourisation! Couldn't for the life in me figure out what it was! Is that slug damage?

Yes, it's slugs. I found a couple hiding under the brassica collars

Many say "Caulie's" ain't worth growing! Regarding price to buy etc!
But must admit! Our home grown were "Sublimed" to the stuff you buy in the major outlets!

I'm trying caulis for the first time this year - they are currently at the 4 leaf stage, but 2 of the 4 leaves have gone brown and shrivelled Yours look fantastic Martin.

Couldn't resist trying a purple mangetout, although they are not really ready yet.
