I've got a few things like pumpkin, squash etc that is ready to be moved to a bigger pot before being put in the ground but I was wondering is it ok for me to just pot them up and put them in a unheated greenhouse straight away? Or should I do it over time?

Oo er... well I wouldn't want to take responsibility for you killing your plants or anything but... lol . I've got a couple of courgettes and a couple of cucumbers which I'll be repotting shortly, and moving from a heated thingy into an unheated polytunnel... But I'll probably cover them with fleece for a while unless the weather magically improves by then. Let's hope someone comes along soon who actually knows what they're talking about eh?!sigpicGardening in France rocks!

They are frost tender and really need more protection and won't like the shock of anything sudden. No plants like sudden changes and need to be gradually aclimatised but really its too early to sow this types of plants let alone put out unless you can provide heat.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

The plants will appreciate the better light in the greenhouse, compared to a windowsill, during the day though.K's Garden blog the story of the creation of our garden
