  • The perils of a good tune when weeding!

Finally got some sunny weather in central Scotland so I plugged in my headphones and headed out to do some weeding - got a bit carried away during a good tune and managed to decapitate a garlic plant!!

Now my quandary is do I leave it to see if it will resprout and keep growing, or do I dig it out so it doesn't rot and affect the other bulbs surrounding it?

    Any advice welcome!

    Thanks

Clearly the strategy to use is to leave it but watch it, if it starts to rot then off with its head (again). One wonders just what music could have whipped you up into a frenzied killing spree like that.

Thanks Bill - hopefully it will survive!

My taste in music may not be everyone's cup of tea - I was reliving my youth and got carried away to "She bangs the drum" by the Stone Roses!

Didn't help that I was trying out a new gardening tool either - i got a pressie of a Japanese hoe that was zipping through the weeds as well as my garlic lol!!!
