After finally getting my head round 1st Earlies, 2nd Earlies & Maincrop Tatties, I now find I have some Early Maincrop & Late Maincrop varieties. Why don't you give me some 3rd Earlies & confuse me altogether.................does it really matter..........

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

because of a slight planning error I planted four rows of first earlies (Accent), then three rows of maincrop (desiree). However, I put one row in, then started digging trenches from the other side of the bed. I filled two rows then ran out of tubers, and bought more. so i added one row of second earlies (wilja) in the middle of the desirees and another of maincrop salad (roseval). now my allotment neighbour left me enough tubers for another row in our greenhouse. she only said they were earlies, and I guess they'll have to go at the far end of the maincrop rows, so the final spacing will be "accent, accent, accent, accent, desiree, roseval, wilja, desiree, desiree, no-name early"

Its quite simple, If your first earlies are late and your second earlies are early the the first earlies become second earlies and your early main crop become.oh i give upphoto album of my garden in my profile http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...my+garden.html
