Bolthardy is yummy...looks like a lot of us enjoy it's flavour then!
I've never grow Beetroot before, I sowed a 4m row on Thursday of Boltardy and cocked up the spacing, 150mm instead of 100mm, on a positive note; they will have plenty of room what are typical germination rates ?
^^^ that will be fine! As the beetroot seed is a cluster don't thin out and they will grow pushing each other out. Germination is usually very good, especially early on during the wet weather.
I plant direct, partly because I don't have the space to start everything off in modules and I have always found beetroot esay enough to grow direct. Always grown globe ones but this has not been a specific choice just the way its happened.
