Pea Shoots

Are they cut and come again? My son has pretty much polished of a mushroom container of peas shoots. Do I keep or throw away? Thanks

I've usually had a couple of servings from pea shoots Bex, but only by cutting the top half off and then they come again. I'd leave them to see if they regrow

Hi ..iv never heard of eating pea shoots before and i dont understand it.......you plant peas then eat the shoots which would turn into peas anyway?? What do they taste like...im reall confused about this????

Apparently they taste of peas. I keep meaning to do it but never have. You can use a cheap bag of dried peas and grow yourself some quick salad, when there's very little else growing - that's the idea I think.

Yes, they have a faint pea-taste and the shoots are quite soft - a nice addition to a salad.

They have a lovely pea taste and are great in salad. I just have a couple of trays on my kitchen window sill. I use a box of dried peas from supermarket, loads for 50p.
