Homemade? Really depends on what you have available....Compost teas - comfrey, nettle or weed tea. Manures, green manures etc. I have a worm bin that also produces a good feed.

in my waterbutts i have old tights (not mine the mrs 's ) filled with horse muck and i'v made nettle tea

How 'organic' do you want to be?

Urine is good for a quick boost (dilute it first and use fresh or it stinks)

Apart from the home-made 'teas' you can buy blood, fish and bone meal, pelleted chicken manure, seaweed meal, etc. Before applying any fertilizer you should first decide what the needs of the particular crop are.
