Thanks Snow. If you look at the pic, you will see 15 buckets. The one that is next to empty has a yellow tagged cane (near the middle), so working upwards from that bucket I am assuming I should get something for the next 9/10 weeks as the next 5 weeks foliage has been & gone & the ones after that are in leaf.

Similar sort of idea, but I've just noticed that all the 'holes' in my black polythene where I harvested all the early spuds are now sprouting large clumps of potato leaves where I failed to get all the tubers out. They look wonderfully healthy so far, and it looks like we might escape frosts for several weeks yet.
What are the chances of some 'new' potatoes for Xmas?Comment
