Thanks for the wishes, still not 100% but better than I've felt. I'm putting it down to Dehydration plus Ammonia overdose............have spent the last few days on fluids & hydration salts. Getting there slowly......Cheers again.

            Bucket No16 - Rocket
Should have stuck with Osprey as this weeks bucket was still in full foliage with no tatties.....................Gonna go downhill now as the next 3 weeks are Rocket which are still in leaf then the next few weeks are Apache which have shown no sign of foliage whatsoever...........then there is one Arron Pilot which is starting to show growth....Guess I'll stick to Osprey next year.

              No tatties

Maybe once you get past midsummer planting you need to give them a bit longer to grow?

I'm putting it down to the variety Pene. I reckon if I'd have stuck with Osprey, the result would have been different but that's only speculation on my part.

It was still a fantastic effort and a good load of fun. Well done BM. I agree that it looks like the variety is an important factor. I reckon next year you'll get further with more Osprey. And maybe some other varieties. I don't know if there is any information out there on which varieties do best in cooler temps?

Well, due to last weeks failure & the next 4 weeks buckets still in full foliage & not ready for harvesting, I am going to have to concede defeat & start again next year.................Lesson learned - Stick with the same variety, so I will be sticking with Osprey next year as they were my most successful. So with that, would the Mods kindly close this thread...............thanks to all who followed me.

Well done with this BM - it is really hard to keep this sort of thing up week after week (as I am discovering with the 5 a week challenge!). Looking forward to seeing how you get on next year.

It's been very interesting to follow your thread, and I might just try a small copy next year if space allows. Good luck for next year!
