I made a bean trench in January-ish this year only because I hadn't decided where to site a compost area yet, and there was a lot of veg waste to be thrown into it.

I also made half a raised bed with all the weeds I pulled, and topped it off with the limanthes that had gone mental everywhere. I'll stick a couple of squashes in this one and see what happens [that's if any of them germinate and live long enough to be planted out and not devoured by the ever present slugs again....
