    I use Google Apps and the Calendar extensively to keep track of all my sowings/plantings, germination events, etc. It also has repeat events which I use for Birthdays, Allotment rent due date, etc. and can be configured to send multiple reminders via popup, email and SMS. As with all things Google the search woks well, if I search for Zebrune I can see exactly when I sowed, when they started coming through, when I transplanted them and hopefully when I harvested and how much

        I prefer the flexibility of a spreadsheet but do find it very useful to record stuff for reference. Couldn't be doing with pop ups for it all though, get enough of them with work stuff, any more would just stress me out.
