Hi All,
I am musing over the behaviour of my tomato plants and was wondering if anyone can help -
Most of my plants (cordon variety) are, with a bit of pinching out, growing upwards and as expected. However, two of the plants are growing in the most bizarre way - their branches seem to be intent on growing downwards. Indeed, one or two have managed to grow vertically downwards and are a real pain to keep upright.
Is this unusual or is it simply because they would originally have rambled across the floor like pumpkins, courgettes etc do when left to their own devices?
