how big.....

I am wondering how big will my plants have to get before they start flowering/producing veg?
my radishes have filled a whole window box and are about 3'' tall and close together.
my courgettes have developed their first leaf with a serrated edge and the 2nd serrtaed eged leaf is starting to get bigger.
my french beans and dwarf french beans are about 1' tall but quit spindly, and are producing these little fat things that look like halved beans kind of but these just drop of.
my watermelon seedlings are about 3'' tall and there are 2 seedlings growing in each pots which are about 3'' in diameter.
sorry for all the questions I keep asking lol, I've never really grown anything like these before lol.

Salina, different plants produce at different sizes.
My courgete Defender is this size

Orelia is this size

And my tomatoes and cucumbers have a way to go

Be patient, they will all grow.

..and as for the radishes, at 3" - pull a couple of big 'uns - if they pop up looking like radishes, then they are ready. If they look like weedy pink roots, leave them a while! If they look a bit like radishes, eat them for tea.

Suggest you pick out every other one, if they are closer than about 2" anyway.

If you are worried about pulling the odd one or two to see if they are ready, do a sum of no. radish seedlings width of container x no. radish seedlings length of container, and if that number is greater that about 100, you are seriously in for a radish recipe requirement!

do you think the half bean type things that fall off might be the flowers?

The half bean things are actually the 2 halves of the bean you originally sowed. They are the equivalent of seed leaves Salina. They will flower, but with dwarf french the flowers come from in between the 'branches' - sound odd but I know what I mean - not sure if you will! Mine have been in the garden (under a cloche initially) for about a month. They are shorter than yours ('cos I'm meaner!) and have only just started to show the buds. I think they'll be at least a week or two before they flower, then you have to be patient all over again waiting for the beans to grow! It's a waiting game, kid!
