I also recommend trying some spinach beet/perpetual spinach - although I'm new to growing I've been buying this from a local grower for the last two winters as a spinach substitute and use it in exactly the same way. I've just sowed my first so am hoping for the best

I'm trying spinach beet for the first time this year. It seems to take its time, unlike spinach which grows really fast. The real test though will be how much of it the slugs/snails/caterpillars leave for me to eat!A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory.
