Has anyone used these with any success? They are like mini grow bags when you fill them with compost

I've got some under the staging as we speak Kimbo, 10" ones with 1 spud per pot thingy.

I fond them OK for this sort of thing & I pot the tomatoes in them that I grow for our plant sale as they cost about 0.5p eachso it doesn't matter if I don't get them back.

If you use them, when you've finished with them you can wash them out & peg them out to sry ready for next year & they take little room up in the shed.

I have got some of the bigger ones for my spuds and I am going to use smaller ones for my toms and dwarf broad beans, I am trialling them on my masterpiece longpod broad beans as well (putting some in poly pots and some in the pots I used last year and had a good crop with) as this variety grow quite tall. I am going to use them for my peas as well. Thanks for the tip about reusing them

Never heard of, or seen these poly pots before. What are they made of and where can you get them from.

A number of people use to use these on my last allotment to grow potatoes outdoors but in contained units rather than in the soil. One plot holder use have 40 as beds and beds of potatoes. He got good results.

I've used mine for about 3 years now Andrew. A lot of the show people grow puds like this as it gives good clean results. Iy yu had a concrete covered yard you could build some "raised" beds out of wood and grow stuff in these in the beds. Then just change the bags for a different crop. It would make rotation easy
