Mayan Gold Potatoes

Has anyone grown these and is it too late to start now?

I would really like to try some, and there are some seed potatoes on ebay but I'm not sure if its still worth a go?

Grew them once, as I recall nothing to get excited about.
Not sure if it is too late, I tend to grow in a container and maybe if you did the same then you could get a crop this year.

I'm growing them for the first time this year. They are an early maincrop and personally if you want to try them I think it's worth a try even though it's late. Nothing ventured and all that

I've still got some Sarpos to put in
