Colli's or Cabbage?

Hi Guys,
I got them mixed up and all I know is that there are 8 of each in there.

Can somebody ID them for me please

Also can I prune the leaves to allow the light to get through to the plants that are being overshadowed and if so how would I do this

My money is on cauliflower

It's difficult to tell at this stage but will become obvious when the cauliflower curds show. Don't cut any leaves off, the plant needs them. With regards to cauliflower, when you see the curds forming, bend the outer leaves over the curds to exclude light thereby stopping them going yellow (assuming they are white curds of course).

Cauliflowers tend to have longer, thinner leaves than cabbages, which have more rounded leaves. I wouldn't be removing any leaves unless they are yellow and falling off. Are they in pots or planted in that photo?

Yes they are planted up, they've grown a bit more and I now know which is which, thanks to WendyC's answer
