Just checked spud bags with charlotte and red duke york which have been fed and watered as supposed to. There are no spuds at all in any of them. Only some very small in the teracotta pots. The question is why ? I am begining to think it is much cheaper to buy organic from the farmers market than grow your own as the cost of the seed potatos and compost to the ratio of growth is ridiculous :-(

you may have to wait a little longer, even first earlies take about 12 weeks to produce a worthwhile crop, maincrop take even longer, the longer you wait the larger the crop.just keep watering and wait for the haulms to start to die down for maincrop, earlies tend to start to produce a useable crop round about the time they start flowering (if your variety flowers)but you may want to wait a couple of weeks past that for them to bulk up a bitdon't be afraid to innovate and try new things
remember.........only the dead fish go with the flow
