Well I have always struggled with parsley but after potting on the plant, keeping moist in the greenhouse it started to grow like mad, dark green :-) However, since then it has become weedy again and some of the stems have become yellow. I have run out of ideas of what to do with this difficult plant. I gave some to my wife to take to her school and plant in the garden. It is thriving like mad which adds insult to injury.

If you grow parsley in pots make sure they are in deep pots because they put down long roots and need lots of space. I grow my parsley in a pot about 60cm / 2 feet deep - I've discovered from experience that at that depth they do very well. They also stand a far better chance at overwintering until next year.
It probably also explains why parsley grown in the ground outperforms pot grown plants.
