Hello fellow Gardeners,
I need some help and advice please. I accidentally sprayed a cat & dog repellent spray on my courgettes (before reading the label which says "do not apply on plants directly" - usually I'm not so daft...). They are only young but quite vigorous plants (they were just starting to grow buds). The large leaves became somewhat deformed and looked like the spray damaged them slightly, but I washed them with pure water and it rained as well so it looked like they were OK. However, the small leaves which were just developing and the buds dried out as if burned. Now the plants recovered pretty well, having some new growth, but can anybody tell me if I should do anything to help them? I have no idea what was in the cat repellent spray, the ingredients are not listed. But almost all of my plants that got sprayed were damaged, the worst were some chrysantemums and hydrangea. Mini roses, fuchsia and lavenders looked mostly unaffected. I will try to attach some photos of the courgette plants now.
