I've been prowling the web trying to work out how high they grow, but there are that many varieties, I cant get a definitive answer. On top of that, I don't know which variety I have because I was given them. It came as a suprise that they were determinate! The way they are growing, I can't see me bothering next year. Sprouting shoots all over which will all need supporting somehow? Trusses are actually shooting off the branches of leaves rather than a stem. Any advice?

I grew them last year, they were a bit of a mish mash as you say. I don't even like the taste of them.

Yes, they are quite vigorous and unruly.
I cut off a lot of the large leaves (removing all leaves below a truss of fruits). The fruits are pretty heavy so you will need to support those trusses: I tie string round the stem, which the other end of the string tied to the eaves (?) of the gh

I support trusses with ladies tights which I cut to various widths and lengths. They give good support, but allow some "give" too.

I dont think the plants I have will get any taller than 3 feet. Loads of sideshoots though.

Not very high IMO, I had of them from B&M in a multipack, they do not grow tall at all (no pun intended)
just looked on the web and it says 4 feet, don't think mine were that tall.

I basically just left mine to get on with it, I staked them at first but it soon became clear they are not a stake shaped plant so I just let it sprawl, or rather grow into a bush shape, so they actually required the least work out of all my tomato plants so from my point of view I would say they are a better plant for the 'lazy tomato grower'.

I mean is you have the space you could just leave them to it and they would just grow into some bush shaped blob

You can cgae them with chicken wire or similar for support if you want.
