I grow it, and yes, in my opinion definitely worth it. I had 4.5kg from 3 plants between August and November. Love 'em.

Planted my first ones out today - if the slugs eat them I have about 10 spares...

3 courgettes, 1 crown prince, 1 uchi kuri. Should be enough for 2 of us.

Well having planted 51 today with 13 sat waiting for homes that would be 64 from me, well until the slugs chomp through the stems and kil'em. I have no idea what the running total should be

                      2 courgettes - eight ball
2 bush pumpkin - no idea
3 trailing pumpkin - jack of all trades
                      2 squash - butter bush

                      = 424

1 Atlantic Giant Pumpkin, 2 as yet indeterminate volunteers and 2 Eight Ball Courgette

                        = 429
What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?

They are only the ones that we've planted out so far...we still have Yugoslavian finger (summer squash), 3 varieties of cucumber, and I think 3 other winter squash varieties to find space for

                          Maybe we've over done it!
                          Total 429 + 35 Flossie extras = 464

2015, grew at least two each of Defender, All Green Bush, Lebanese, Black Beauty, Sunburst, De Nice a Fruit Rond, Golden Zucchini. Gave a few spare plants away locally, leaving me with just one or two of each variety.

Will be growing a similar mix next year, and at least one new variety.

                            And hoping for better weather
