    That doesn't look like a European plant..where are you posting from...if you could put your location in your profile, we might be able to help you better!

    Do you recall what it was supposed to be or is it a lost label or something self seeded?

          Looks like there is a fruit next to the flower....the top of it looks a bit like a poppy head!

            Looks like a Mallow to me - maybe Abutilon abutiloides – Shrubby Indian Mallow - Southeastern Arizona Wildflowers and Plants
            If we knew where you lived it would narrow the choices considerably

                Thanks all! I live in Missouri, USA. After extensive research I found that this ia a weed called Velvet Weed (Abutilon theophrasti).

                  Ah well, at least I identified it as an Abutilon
