baby potatoes

I had a few baby/new potatoes that we never got around to eating so they got little ''eyes'' so I planted them and now the little leaves are just appearing about the soil.
does anyone know if they will produce anything edible?

yes i see no reason why you should not get something from them i must admit to sowing some jersey royals that had shoots growing from them got a good crop last year when i tryed it
