I have had 2 of them, once they get past a certain size they just seem to grow on, dont overwater as they like it a bit drier than toms, the plant hasn't been allowed to dry out at any time has it?, I grow mine tough so they thrive or perish, I wont spend months molly coddling plants, in the wild they don't get ideal conditions so they should shrug off any hiccups in fruits such as yours so just give them the basics and stand back......good luck with it

I water them everyday when we had the hot weather. Maybe I should water them every so often then. Thanks

I don't water mine everyday either. If the soil feel wet they might get watered the next day.

Although one of my peppers does a small hole in the side I can see the seeds inside :S. Not sure if anything had been nibbling at it. I'm unable to check them this morning as there's a sleeping fox on the shed roof.

I've had some like that and it looked as if slugs or snails had grazed on the outside of the stem so the fruit couldn't grow properly

Are you sure you're a gardener?

Can't believe you have nails that clean! :d

                Damn you've caught me!

                Haha.

I have to keep my hands clean all the time with the job I am in. I work with the elderly.

Good for you... we're a picky bunch of sticklers for cleanliness, us elderly!!!

BTW I'm not sure what's on the leaves... look like eggs of something to me with my failing eyesight

I have tried rubbing them off with my finger but they wont come off.....I was thinking it could be leaf hopper. But I am not to sure.

                      How many leaves are affected?

I'd whip off any affected leaves if you can't squish them.

The plant won't miss a few leaves!!!

So is it you or me who's scared everyone else off from this thread?

I did shower but I've been at the allotment since so perhaps it's me!

I think talking about all the cleanliness has scared them away.

Quick lets get back to talking dirt!!!!!
