Any ideas what verity of tomato this is?

None of the 11 verities I'm growing this year are yellow. It came from a plant labeled black krim. I was wondering if it's colour change could be due to stress. As this was one of the extras I grow to sell, but it didn't find a new home, so then I feel sorry for them and keep them going in not enough space, in stead of just putting them on the compost. The other stupid idea I came up with was that it's a throw back to a parent plant. Now I'm fairly sure I've just proved I know very little about were all the different tomato varieties come from can anyone shed any light on this mystery?
Would saving seed from it be a good plan? It is the only fruit that plant is going to produce.

Just re-read my post and it sounds like I brought the plant! I didn't all my plants are from home sown (brought, not saved ) seeds

It doesn't look like a Black Krim to me Sp,none of the black varieties I have seen, have ever shown as yellow during their growth cycle.
Looks to be the size & shape of a Yellow Stuffer to me.
Try a section see if you like it,if you do then save some seed & grow it again next year

I wouldn't think it is good breeding practice to breed from a plant that has only had one tomato.

Where does it say it only had 1 fruit - or have I missed something *confused*

        Could be a Yellow Brandywine

My 'Yellow Stuffer' are much bumpier than that tomato. And it looks too small and neat and tidy to be a brandywine. Just a rogue seed getting into the wrong packet

Just out of curiosity, where did you get the plant from?
The proof of the growing is in the eating.
            Leave Rotten Fruit.
            Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potasium - potash.
            Autant de têtes, autant d'avis!!!!!

Also resembles Aranyalma, looks to big for a mille flure, and to small for golden sunrise, have you any more on the same plant, and do they look like each other,or different sizes, like some toms do,
sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these

I would agree with you, but I do believe the reason it only produced one fruit was my cruelty. The poor little sod never made it into anything bigger than a 6" pot all season

No seeds will be saved as we ate the tomato last night. I liked it and was up for saving some seeds, the other half wasn't not so impressed. Don't know why I keep listening to him!

I regularly have "spares" which never make it out of 6" or even 5" pots. They tend to end up somewhere in a corner outside and never get fed but still manage to produce a couple of trusses of fruit, albeit small fruit.

Interesting that yours has produced one full sized fruit.
