Already have lol. The point of it was to be able to stand up in it, Its a bit of an eyesore for a private garden but do I care?

Bill - guy on our site has built the same and he's not stapling the top so he can fold it off the topwhen it snows.

I'd be proud to have that in my garden, it looks great.

Out of curiosity - what/how does the magnetic door work. (without wanting to come across as being thick - is the door attached by hinges ? -are there magnets on the door and the frame ? - I'm wanting to build a wooden fruit cage and would like to understand how your door works).

Kevin, Thank you, the doors are just 2 netting doors that hand down in a frame, I stapled then to the frame all round but not the bottom. The magnets are all down the inside edges and you just push through them and then hear a satisfying click, click, click as the magnets clip together to close the gap For about £4 they are about as cheap as you could make a door. Tomorrow I will take more pictures and post them here. There are slight gaps but I don't think butterflies could get through and even if you made a door I am sure there would be tiny gaps. I do place a board against the bottom though to stop the wind blowing it about.

Magnetic closing door (fly) screen.

The screen comes in two pieces, I stapled it top, left and right making sure it was not so tight that the magnets didn't easily click together. I also used some pins that they supplied with it. I fixed a permanent bottom board to stop the wind blowing it open, and a removable board on the outside to trap it against the permanent board.

I've just been to the allotment ... my gazebo frame with netting didn't work ... netting ripped open on one side, 20 cauliflowers and 14 PSB completely gone ... yet another thing to add to the ever growing list of failures this year ...

i'll definitely get some more (stronger) netting and try again .... i've still got kale seedlings growing at home and they'll need protecting when they get planted on the allotment ....

i'll probably sow some more cauliflower and grow them in the cold greenhouse ....
