Shrivelled toms!

I am growing a bush variety of cherry tomatoes in a tub, called sweet n neat.
Plant is looking really healthy as are toms when green, but before the toms turn red they start shrivelling up, and I have to pick and chuck them.
Am I over/under watering? Or is it something else?

I'm also growing these this year.

Mine are still green toms, but are a big and healthy looking size. They'll probably be turning red over the course of next week, so I'll let you know how I get on with mine.

Is it all plants of sweet and neat that this happens to, or just one?

Are you growing any other Bush varieties, how are they doing?

Hi solan, yes it's just the sweet n neat it's happening too. I'm growing tumbling toms and they are fine (apart from still green!)
Below is pic of plant plus tomatoes I removed yesterday.

Hi pots, been feeding tomato feed once or twice a week, more once really, and occasionally potash or liquid seaweed.

Don't know how big your tub is, I am using Morrison's buckets for my cordon's and standard hanging baskets for my bush plants. I had to up my feeding regime in the very hot weather due to the fact I have been watering every day sometimes twice a day and find this works like a rinse cycle on a washing machine, it just washes all the nutrients out of the compost.

I was feeding at every alternate watering with tomorite at one stage.

They are in a 30inch tub, but I will up the feeding regime as I have heard before that you end up washing the nutrients out.
These morrisons tubs sound good, ive heard loads of people mention them - unfortunately the nearest big store to me is 20miles away so we only go a couple if times a year.

Hmm very strange.

As you say the plant looks very healthy, so I'm not too sure what it could be. Blighted toms shrivel, but no sign of blight marks on either toms or the plant.

My best guess is it could be a sign that the tomatoes aren't getting enough water. When you go to water the plants are you sure the water is penetrating into the soil and not just running off the top and down the sides of the pot?

I just wondered if there is a yellow variety of Sweet n Neat? They would never go red...
