Now that I have my green manure Trifolium, the bed I want to use has sweetcorn growing, will it be OK to under sow before all the corn has been harvested,as I understand the seeds need to be sown before end of August, and if so should I chicken pellet before,or will that be a waste, this bed will be used for brassicas next year.

Chicken manure is a plant food, not a soil improver. Therefore, you use it on the brassicas when they're in the ground, not months before.
It's also slightly alkaline, so you don't need to add lime as well as chicken poop. You don't need to use either if your soil is already alkaline, as mine is.
Green manures: yes, sow them now because they won't grow at all over the winter, it's too dark. You want them to cover the ground to prevent weeds taking over.
I don't have any bare soil, anywhere, ever. I have green manures or a crop underneath everything, eg clover under sweetcorn & raspberries, limnanthes under currants, etcAll gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.
