  • Please help, scaly tomato stems

Can anyone tell me what is wrong, and if there is a treatment?
    Thank you

A weed is a plant that has mastered every survival skill except for learning how to grow in rows.

Is it just on the lower portion of the main stem?Looks like root nodes, which don't harm the plant. A photo of the whole plant would be helpful though to confirm.

Looks like root nodules to me too

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

It is pretty much all over. It is an outdoor plant.

Where's the rest of the plant? What variety of tom is it? It looks like it should be a cordon and the main stem has snapped?
I'm still going with root nodes, has the pot got good drainage.. It won't hurt the plant anyway. Your tom should ripen.
