    Pulled out the potaoea plants due to blight have left a load ofspuds in the ground will these be alright or should i pull them up.

      I just did some rootling round on the Net and found the Blightwatch site. If you register (free) you will be sent an email or text if blight is predicted for your area. Cool

        Yes in camborne cornwall we definatly have blight we always get it but it has arrived early also been hiting tomatoes crops away from the allotment

          If you have blight you should remove all trace including the spuds

            If you cut down the foliage as soon as you spot the blight symptoms you should still be able to harvest the potatoes (don't know how big they will be). If you leave them in the ground they will either rot (they can't grow any more as there is no foliage to feed them) or they will become infected by the blight spores washing down through the ground. Dig them up and use what you can.
