I really like it. It was rather slow to start setting beans - all the early flowers fell off. But once it started it produced plenty of lovely stringless beans which were quite large and often straight and blemish free. Even some of the older ones lacked the hardness you often get around the seeds with runner beans. I don't normally grow runner beans so I have no idea how they performed yield wise, but I had plenty for my needs from 6 plants. Highly recommended.

      Carrot Nantes Frubund
      Calabrese Sakura

Sorry I am very behind. The stuff I managed to get planted has been trashed when the blow away blew away.
So need to get my act together and get stuff re planted.

Still very little time to do gardening

              This week I have eaten:
Tomato Shirley, Sungold, Chocolate Cherry, Belle
              Potato Sarpo Mira
              Carrot Nantes Frubund
              Courgette Green Bush
Pea Geisha (about 8) and Hurst Green Shaft (frozen)
Pepper Snackbite Orange + unnamed yellow variety
              Rainbow chard
              Onion Sturon
              Parsley
Baby lettuce (Lollo Rossa, Salad bowl)
              Raspberry Allgold
5 strawberries (everbearer) - looked nice but hard and tasteless.

              Planted:
Transplanted a calabrese plant to save it from the excavations in the greenhouse.
              Planted a stray strawberry runner

Could be good or bad, depending on which veg...

Could be tomato, since I have eaten those every day since about the start of August and still have 17 punnets left...

Could be carrot though, since I had a HUGE bowl of carrot soup yesterday!

It looks a bit cold being a carrot! I'm definitely going to be a tomato.
