Agree with BM, you can also roast them with some garlic, olive oil and basil (or any other herbs). Once roasted it's delicious with pasta, you can also freeze the sauce.

This recipe is from memory but it is from Sarah Don, wife of Monty.

stick some tomatoes in an oven proof dish, drizzle with garlic infused olive oil, season with rough ground sea salt and then roast at 185 degrees f until the skin is starting to caramelize.

That can be frozen once cool to use as the base for many dishes but it is absolutely delish hot and fresh with freshly baked bread. My mouth is watering just at the thought.

I'm not keen on cherry tomatoes so I'd use them as catapult ammunition to fire at the bl**dy pigeons.

Make soup. Boil up with a bit of balsamic vinegar, salt n pepper then strain through a sieve. Pure tomato heaven xx

I make the very small ones into puree. Cut them in half and put in a pan (nothing else required) and heat until soft, then push through a sieve. I freeze it in ice cube trays so you have about a tablespoon in each section, useful for adding to casseroles etc.
