It's a brilliant feeling isn't it AP. My grandson came in at 1lb10oz 23 weeks early, is now 17 & waiting to join the Navy.

Little monkey gave us the worst 6 weeks of our lives. My daughter was really ill at the time as well but thankfully all good now. But yes, brilliant just about sums it up. He tells me I am the world's bestest Granda. Well he clearly has good judgement

My daughter has clearly done the same and it does show how much value there is in catching them young. Carrots are easy to grow in the right growing medium but it is vitally important to keep them covered with fleece or environmesh.
The cauliflower with the green card on page three are mine
That cauli looks nice Ap - would look even better with some cheese sauce
Your grandson's a lucky lad to have you around - wait 'til he grows bigger onions than you
Wow, what gorgeous veg! Well done with your caulis - makes my attempts (4 leaves and then they curl up and die) look extremely pathetic!
Good to see the youngsters getting involved. I will never forget the horror I felt when talking to a student in his early 20s who was bright enough to go to uni, but had no idea that fruit formed from flowers. I can't imagine not knowing that sort of thing - it was taught to me (as it should be) at primary school.
