  • Bran Compost

Got my first bin of bran compost from the work experiment and have dug two trenches in the polytunnel and buried it. Apparently it doesn't start composting until in the ground. It smelt very sweet - although someone in the office eats a healthy amount of oranges. I hope to plant courgettes in this part, so thought it would be good for a hungry feeder.

Anyone else tried bran composting? The liquid drained off looked quite good too, although someone bagged that for the office plants. Apparently it is also good for clearing drains don't know how that works.

Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn't know that so it goes on flying anyway.
