It's always worth a try jaydeb. You are dependent on the weather - what sort of a summer we have - but as long as they have a bit of ripening time you could get a crop and enough to store. Give it a go - you'll only waste a few seeds if it doesn't work. I sowed a few extra outdoor cucumbers a couple of weeks ago - my others are in flower but I thought I could do with a couple more! They are growing faster than the first ones did - later sowings often catch up.

I just got some squash seeds and it says they should be planted in april, but I'm going to have a go anyway lol. they will be kept indoors for ages so they'll be warm, and besides I'm too impatient to wait until next year lol.
