  • Everyones must grow?

After reading the whats in,whats out thread and other various threads I am curious to know what everyones must grow veg/variety is and why?

For me peas are a must and most years its collosal climbing, greensage and feltham first. They all crop well and have a good flavour.

Never had any luck with peas, for me it's climbing French beans.

For me it's carrots, they're easy to grow and I love them raw.

It's tricky because I have more than one must grow. Tomatoes Black Russian because they get to a good big size and taste great. chilli's,not got a favourite variety, like to try lots. carrots, rainbow mix because it's really exciting not knowing what colour your going to pull up next. pumpkins small sugar nice manageable size good flavour and I like watching them grow, speedy little fellas.

I don't like answering these kind of questions because I change my mind according to what I've picked recently! though I think my favourite item to grow is the tomato.

During the growing season I will eat them every day without getting bored , there are so many different varieties and colours, they look fab on the ate and they can be eaten hot or cold.

                          Worried? I'm totally lost

My mustgrows are Bijou mangetout, green and yellow courgettes and tomatoes (possibly common old gardener's Delight).
                          ............and Trombe d'Albenga of course

It was a fluke this year, GL. Normally, the onions come out of the ground the same size as the sets I've planted - maybe even smaller
