But every story can be broken down into chapters. The courgette chapter is finished, the leek chapter is about to start

I forgot to pick the last cucumber this afternoon, I must remember to pick it tomorrow.

Ok. I REALLY think this was my last batch of artichokes. Got 8 golf ball sized. But every time I think it's my last, there are more! Made a lovely starter with a bit of butter. Mmmmm.

Oh and still have about six baby courgettes (2-3 inches) on the one plant I kept in. This Atena polka has been fantastic! I'll give them a chance but if nothing happens in the next few days, they're coming off for a stir fry.

Picked the last hundred or so green Sungold tomatoes on Friday as there were ominous black smudges on the stems. Can't complain, I have a freezer full of tomatoes and soup in the garage, and more tomatoes in the kitchen freezer, another 15 punnets full of ripening ones in the utility room along with 2 trays of green ones, a double spread of newspaper housing some green ones on the sitting room floor, and a few ripening in the spare bedroom. I made 2 punnets full into chutney yesterday...

I had the last of the raspberries on my porridge this morning, and very nice they were.

                      Mooli pods.

Us three kids were chuckling away, as mama H declared she was going to pick the 'Last Moongreh'. Sounds likes a movie...

I picked my last courgette this week.

Yes, it's October and I'm still picking courgettes. My garden is sooooo confused....

Picked my last butternut squash and cape gooseberries today. The latter weren't finished, but I need the space for the broadies...
