Right here's one for the learned amongst you

Today during our Sunday morning brew session the conversation started off very intellectual and serious but after a few moments we descended into usual garden chatter, when the following question cropped up.

"Who is the God of allotments"

No one could come up with a reply, so I am throwing the queston over to you lot. (I have a funny feeling where this thread may go)

Ahh, now this is where things get complicated, even if we accept the premise that God is omnipresent & creator of all things, there is according to your quote the need for a saint prior to God's input, as the fields have to be ploughed before the seed is cast we undoubtedly must have a blacksmith to make the plough to do it with, so enters St.Clementine patron saint of blacksmiths.

I think that gardening is like opening Pandora's Box. Instead of having evil, death etc coming out you have slugs, blight, diseases, rabbits and creatures like that eating your crops, caterpillars well the list is endless.
So my patron as it was the last thing to come out of the box is Hope.
