Wyevale 50p sale then the 10p clear out (for stuff I just like the look of and might give a go - premier seeds for things I specifically wanted like Passandra Cucumber and some squash seeds. Oh and some from Lidl and Wilko as well.

I like the look of Moreveg online smaller packets but sometimes that is all you need

The smaller packets and the selection are the reason I like Moreveg.
Means I can put two rows of two different varieties in without a great waste.

Seeing a packet saying 500 seeds sounds nice but if you plant 15-20 the rest are pointless.

Which reminds me I have 3 rows to sort out with something.

I was actually thinking to start saving & collecting seeds from my plants. for example , lettuce is very easy to collect from. you just leave a plant to go to seed. My garden is small and most of the times a 500 seeds packet is a waste for me, it would take me years to go through it.
does anyone else collect seeds here ?

I agree about large numbers of seeds but sometimes leaving plants in the ground to run to seed is a waste of valuable space. With most brassicas you can eat all of the plant, and they make quite a passable addition to salads if you sow them and cut them as microgreens. The usual one to do this with is mustard, but I have used PSB that way as there are usually far too many seeds in a packet for me.

Cheap an cheerful for me, if it is cheap I will have it, ie various multi-packs tend to be great value from poundland, B&M, also got some tomatoes seeds from Lidi, pretty cheap.

I have save some tomato seeds from last year, not too sure what they are , Cherry of Alicante I think, I guess I will found out if they sprout!!

I also saved some cucumber seeds but I can't seem to find em! (yet).

Have you thought about joining the seed circle on here? I'm turning into something of a saving addict - I have some salsify and beetroot kept back so I can grow them for seed later on this year, and have a big list of other things to save, but a seed circle will always give you something new to try...

I get the majority of my seeds from premier seeds direct on ebay, they are brilliant, cheap and reliable.
I have also bought a few from wilko and never had any problems with germination etc

I used simply seed, they were about a 3rd of the price compared to the main companys. But it is worth checking as the odd packet is more expensive so I did a mix of simply seed, suttons plus all the free ones from the mags (most I don't use but a few I do)

Real seeds have a lot of information. In particular:
                      http://www.realseeds.co.uk/seedsavinginstructions.doc
but there are also instructions at the bottom of some of the vegetable pages.
If that doesn't answer your questions just shout or PM me.
Then in November please join the circle:
