I grow my climbing beans up 8ft canes tied together about 1/2 to 2/3rds up the canes instead of near the top. Beans grow up canes and hang down from the cross over ends. Easier to tie canes half way up, doesn't make your arms ache! and easier to see and harvest beans.

Dry out in the greenhouse or leave damp,urine only, babies nappies, rip open and use the gel for hanging baskets,pots or anything else likely to dry out quick, i'm sure it's the same stuff used for the garden, plus the urine will feed the plants, has worked well for me anyway.
