    I'm going to stick with Bijou mangetout from now on. May not have blue flowers but they make a massive Mangetout
    I grew Bijou and granted they were pretty, and had ginormous pods, but they tasted bitter to me

    I thought I'd try Realseeds Goldensweet for 2015, now I'm not sure

      Just had a look at the VSP and the Delikata is not in there yet, I guess I'll include some in this year's parcel
      I like them because they don't grow very tall, may be sowed in successions until mid-July, mildew-resistant, and if for some reason you don't pick the pods early the peas are delicious, too. When I cook the peas I still use the pods, for example cut them into thin strips to add to stir-fries. A good variety for freezing. White flowers, though, sorry
