    • Lovely, juicy red ripe toms!!

Jonny, have you had your toms/bruschetta yet? Were they as tasty as they looked (yes, you guessed, I'm a tomato eating freak...!!!).
Which were the sweetest, juiciest best textured ones? Tigrella/baby plum or beefsteak??? (I need to calm right down now!)
      Anyways, hope you enjoyed 'em

                • Runner beans, strawberries, blackberries, carrots, three kinds of lettuce and my first ever fully grown head of chinese cabbage (Orankin F1). Had a nice salad for tea with some tomatoes and cucs from the greenhouse.

                  • Just a handful of runner beans today, but I live in hope of some of the hundreds of tomatoes going red at some point.

                          • First decent handful of runner beans here, with loads more growing rapidly now. Also some french beans (Purple Teepee) plus courgettes, orange peppers, tomatoes (from the windowsill plants) onion and garlic chives which I made into a sort of aubergine-less ratatouille, if you can have such a thing. Blueberries and wild strawberries for pud

                              • Plot 1's first ever harvest! We had swiss chard omelette and the potatoes with dinner. The strawberries actually came from my neighbour, I'm not a fan but my husband loved them. Very very chuffed. The potatoes were amazing, like I'd never tasted one before!
